ANTI-SLOP UTILITY / 60 SECOND GATE

Protect your
attention.

Minute Guard is a Chrome extension that stops short videos across the web while leaving longer-form viewing—and the sites you allow—alone.

No account. No ads. No analytics. No external servers.

Your browsing stays yours.

Effective August 4, 2026

Minute Guard processes video metadata directly inside your browser for one purpose: stopping videos shorter than your configured threshold. It does not collect, sell, transmit, or share your browsing history, page content, video activity, identity, or personal information with the developer or any third party.

Minute Guard does not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, remote code, or developer-operated servers. Video duration and playback state are evaluated in memory and are not retained.

The enabled setting, duration threshold, and exception hostnames you choose are saved locally on your device. Minute Guard does not require a Google, ChatGPT, or developer account, and the developer cannot access those preferences.

If Minute Guard's data practices change, this policy and the Chrome Web Store disclosure will be updated before the changed behavior is released.

01

Website access

Minute Guard reads video duration and playback state on pages you visit so it can stop clips shorter than 60 seconds.

02

Active tab

When you open the toolbar popup, Minute Guard reads only the current site’s hostname so you can add or remove that site as an exception.

03

Storage

Your enabled setting and exception hostnames are stored locally on your device. No account is required, and the developer does not receive them.
